Billy Currington Celebrates Five-Year Anniversary Of ‘Summer Forever’

Billy Currington released his latest studio album, Summer Forever, five years ago this month. The project has been certified gold and features the chart-topping hits "Don't It," "It Don't Hurt Like It Used To," and "Do I Make You Wanna." To celebrate its anniversary, Billy has released a video highlighting the hit songs on the record.

At the time, Billy told us he gave the project this particular title because it pretty well sums him up. [“I named the album Summer Forever partly because it’s my life – summer and sunshine, beach, ocean and all that – and I think some of the songs on the album reflect that, and it just felt like a great title. It’s the title of one of the songs on there, and when I was kinda going through the songs, one day it just hit me, like, ‘Man, that would be a perfect title for this album.'”] SOUNDCUE (:21 OC: . . . for this album.')

There is no word yet on when Billy plans to release his next studio album.
