Kane Brown is mourning the loss of his maternal grandfather, Steve Allen Brown, who died on Friday (Sept. 11) at the age of 65. A memorial reception is scheduled to take place today (Tuesday, Sept. 15th) in Chattanooga. According to Brown's obituary, contributions are encouraged to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
The Grand Ole Opry will celebrate Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, which was forced to cancel this year, on Saturday (Sept. 19th). The Opry was originally scheduled to be part of this year’s Bonnaroo for the third consecutive year and will continue with a special Opry at Bonnaroo livestream broadcast featuring performances by Brothers Osborne, Wendy Moten and Opry member Ricky Skaggs. That show will air on Circle TV livestreamed on Circle All Access YouTube, Twitter and Facebook channels, SiriusXM as well as the Opry’s flagship home 650 WSM AM and wsmonline.com.
