Morgan Wallen made an unnannounced appearance on Saturday (January 15th) night at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville at the Martin Luther King Freedom Fest. He was invited by his latest collab partner, rapper Lil Durk, and the two performed their hit "Broadway Girls." Lil Durk introduced Morgan by saying, “Can’t nobody cancel sh** without me saying it, you know what I’m saying," referring to the backlash Morgan has suffered since February of last year when he was captured on video making a racial slur.

National radio and television broadcaster and best-selling author Ralph Emery died on Saturday at the age of 88. The Country Music Hall of Famer's career spanned more than half a century. 

Garth Brooks broke the ticket sales record for Petco Park in San Diego on Friday (January 14th) with 50,000 paid tickets and counting. The concert will be held on Saturday, March 5th.
