Bits And Pieces: Tyler Hubbard, Mickey Guyton & More!

FGL's Tyler Hubbard is on the mend after undergoing surgery yesterday (Tuesday, August 25th) in Nashville. He suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon as well as a broken ankle bone while riding his dirt bike last week. Tyler shared an Instastory update where he said that according to his doctor, he'll be walking again in six to eight weeks.

Mickey Guyton is expecting her first child. She and husband Grant Savoy will welcome the new addition early next year. Mickey shared the news on Instagram, captioning a picture of sonogram photos “Baby Savoy coming 2021.” In another post she wrote, “God sent me an angel in these dark times and I am beyond grateful and terrified and all of the things.”

This year's ACM Awards will be entirely done virtually for the first time ever. The show, which will be hosted by Keith Urban, will be broadcast from three iconic locations in Nashville: the Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium and Bluebird Cafe. Yesterday (Tuesday, August 25th), the ACM tweeted, "Due to COVID-19 safety guidelines, and for the safety of our artists and crew, the 55th ACM Awards in Nashville will not have a live audience." The show will air on CBS on September 16th at 8 p.m. ET.
