Blake Shelton's new single, "Happy Anywhere," will be released on Friday (July 24th). He again teams with girlfriend Gwen Stefani on the tune, which was written by Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and Matt Jenkins. The song will make its TV debut on release day during the 8 a.m. hour of Blake's appearance on NBC's Today Summer 2020 Citi Music Series.
He said, “Even though Gwen and I just had a single out we decided that, under the circumstances, this year . . . man, there’s never been a better time for ‘Happy Anywhere.' We’ve all been in quarantine and lockdown, and hopefully we’ve been doing that with somebody that we really love and enjoy being around. That’s what happened with Gwen and me this summer – and this entire year.”
“Happy Anywhere” follows Blake and Gwen's platinum-selling Number One hit “Nobody But You.” The song was Blake's 27th career chart-topper.
Blake, Gwen, Trace Adkins and Parmalee will all be part of an Encore Drive-In Nights one-night-only concert event on Saturday (July 25th). The experience will include cinematic interviews with and all-new performances from Blake and his special guests. Tickets are currently on sale, and the show will play in theaters across the country.
