Chris Janson returns to the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart this week with his latest hit single “Done," while LoCash claim the Number One spot on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart with "One Big Country Song."
Chris wrote "Done" about his wife. He said, “The moment I first saw my wife, Kelly, I knew that was it. I was done. This song is about knowing right then and there that I’d work for the rest of my life to make her happy. It’s just the truth. That’s why it’s so special. A big thanks and congratulations to my co-writers Mitch (Oglesby), Jamie (Paulin) and Matt (Roy) for helping make this song come to life. And, of course, to country radio for sharing it with the world.”
LoCash's Preston Brust said, “Thank.You.Country.Radio!!!! The folks at Country radio feel like ‘One Big Country Family’ to us and we just want to thank them for showing us so much love over the years and especially this week!”
Chris Lucas added, “We didn’t think anyone worked harder than us . . . until we met the BBR Music Group/ Wheelhouse Records team but they jumped from No. 6 to No. 1 in a week and brought home a No. 1 record! We’re all living in crazy times so it feels really good to be part of a silver lining story and a song that brought a smile to so many people’s faces.”
“Done” has earned upwards of 35 million streams and is the second consecutive Billboard Number One for Chris, following the Gold-certified “Good Vibes."
LoCash previously topped the charts in 2016 with "I Know Somebody."
