Dan + Shay are set to perform with Justin Bieber at next week’s CMA Awards show and will sing their hit single, “10,000 Hours.”
They share the same manager and thought of Justin Bieber while co-writing the song. Dan Smyers talked about first asking him to be on the tack and said: “He hit back right away like, he loves the song. Wants to do it. So we connected and he wrote a couple of lines on it, put his spin on it.”
In January, “10,000 Hours,” topped Billboard's Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales charts all at the same time. The 2020 CMA Awards are scheduled for Wednesday (Nov. 11) and will air live on ABC.
