Garth Brooks addressed current events during his weekly Inside Studio G series on Facebook earlier this week. He shared a story of encouragement that he first experienced with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, while she was feeling disheartened by the chain of events this weekend. Garth said: [“She was saying out loud that she feels like the whole world is burning. And so I took her outside. We’re lucky enough to live in a place that’s kind of elevated and you can see around. And I take her – I said, ‘The world isn’t burning. And the reason why the world isn’t burning is because there’s a lot more people that believe in loving one another than they believe in burning the world.’ So just believe that the person next to you is a good person. We’ll get through this.”] SOUNDCUE (:26 OC: . . . get through this.)
Garth is expected to release his new studio album, FUN!, sometime this year.
