Newcomer Hardy will release his debut album, called A Rock, on all digital retailers and streaming platforms on September 4th. He co-wrote the 12-song collection over the last several years and finished the project during quarantine.
The album is described as having a rock influenced country sound. Hardy told Rolling Stone, “It’s just something that I hadn’t really done before, to really experiment with more of the rock & roll side of my music.”
A Rock pulls from such Hardy rock influences as Soundgarden, Pink Floyd, John Prine, Eric Church, Kid Rock and more.
Hardy's current single “One Beer” featuring Lauren Alaina & Devin Dawson sits in the Top 25 and climbing at country radio.
