It Took A While For FGL To Realize That Their Latest Single Is A ‘Jam’

Florida Georgia Line almost didn't record their latest hit single, "I Love My Country." The duo liked the song the first time they heard it when their producer, Corey Crowder sent it to them, but they didn't really consider recording it themselves. That all changed at some point, as Tyler Hubbard tells us: [“Funny enough, I don’t think we ever thought about it at first.  I think we just listened to it as a demo from Crowder, and we get demos every week and we listen to ‘em, and that one just kind of kept sticking around.  That one was so catchy, so fun.  We even pitched it to a couple of buddies, and everybody loved it but it never ended up getting’ recorded.  And finally, we came back and we were like, ‘Yeah, we need to record this song, this is a jam!’"] SOUNDCUE (:22 OC: . . . is a jam!')

Clearly fans agree! The song sits inside the Top 10 and climbing on the country charts.

“I Love My Country” is off of FGL’s new 6-Pack EP, which is available now, wherever you stream or download music.
