Jameson Rodgers popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Sarah Allison Turner, on Wednesday (Sept. 30th) night at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Jameson shared the news on Instagram on Thursday (Oct. 1st) writing, "I met @sarahallisonturner at the Bluebird 9 years ago. Took a few years for me to finally ask her out. Last night I surprised her there and asked her if she’d marry me. She said YES!!"
Jameson and Sarah began dating five years ago.
Jameson sits inside the Top Five and climbing with his latest single, "Some Girls." While the song's subject matter pertained at one point in his life, Jameson is clearly in a much happier place. He tells us: ["'Some Girls' is a song I fell in love with a few years ago. The song was written about the stage after a breakup where it can sometimes be very difficult to find some closure and this is something I've definitely been through but thankfully I survived and get to sing about it now."] SOUNDCUE (:15 OC: . . . about it now.)
