Jason Aldean and his family had to say goodbye to one of their beloved pets this week. On Monday (Nov. 2nd), Brittany Aldean turned to Instagram Stories to share the news that their chameleon, Elvis — later named Elvira after they recently found out she is a girl — had to be put down after she suffered complications while laying eggs.
Brittany explained, "One egg was still lodged in her, so she just wasn't able to pass it, and apparently in their little bodies it's just too much . . . I know it’s just a chameleon, but I get very attached to my animals."
Elvis/Elvira joined the Aldean family back in August.
