Jordan Davis hit the road with Dierks Bentley on the Gravel & Gold Tour last week, and he tells us that in addition to getting to perform for Dierks' fans, the best part of being on the tour is getting to watch the headliner on stage every night. “I am a huge Dierks Bentley fan, always have been since ‘What Was I Thinkin’.’ So, to be able to sit side stage and honestly say that of the times that I’ve played with Dierks, I don’t think I’ve missed a second of the show, just because it’s a master class, man. As a fairly new artist, you can learn a lot from guys like that. So, that’s truly what I’m really looking forward to getting to see, grabbing a beer and watching those guys go to work every night. It’s gonna be pretty special.”
Jordan performed as part of CMA Fest in Nashville last night (Thursday, June 8th) at Nissan Stadium.
The Gravel & Gold Tour resumes on June 16th in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Jordan is closing in on the top of the country charts with his latest hit, “Next Thing You Know.”
