Keith Urban And Kix Brooks Are Among Five 2023 Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame Nominees

Keith Urban and Kix Brooks are eyeing Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame status.

According to Taste of Country on Thursday (August 3rd), Urban and Brooks, of Brooks and Dunn, are among the five 2023 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame nominees.

Other nominees include Casey Beathard, David Lee Murphy and Rafe Von Hoy.

Beathard is known for writing songs for Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and more, and Murphy has written for Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Chesney and more. Van Hoy's songwriting career includes songs by Mark Chestnutt, the Oak Ridge Boys, Barbara Mandrell and George Jones.

The 53rd annual Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala will take place at the Music City Center in Nashville on October 11th.
