Kelsea Ballerini will release a new album, simply titled ballerini, on Sept. 11th. Musicrow.com reports the 13-song project features stripped-down versions of the songs that appeared on Kelsea's 2020 release, kelsea.
Kelsea said, “kelsea is glitter: bold and effervescent and dreams that are boundless. She’s who I want to be. While ballerini is emotional, vulnerable, soft: observes her surroundings and chooses her words carefully. She’s who I am. The album ballerini is the result of the wonder and gets down to the heart of it. Introducing ballerini…the other side of the same story."
The first song off ballerini is “club (ballerini album version),” which was released on Wednesday (Sept. 2nd).
Kelsea is up for Female Vocalist of the Year at this month's Academy of Country Music Awards. She is also set to perform during the broadcast, which will air live from Nashville on Sept. 16th on CBS.
