Luke Combs walked away with a whopping six nominations after helping announce this year's CMA Awards nominees during Good Morning America earlier this week. He's up for Entertainer, Album (What You See Is What You Get), Song (“Even Though I’m Leaving” performed by Luke and “I Hope You’re Happy Now” performed by Carly Pearce and Lee Brice), Male Vocalist and Single of the Year (“Beer Never Broke My Heart”).
Luke – who is the reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year as well as Song of the Year recipient – tells us: ["You know, you never really expect something like this when you move to Nashville. I mean, getting six CMA nominations is pretty insane, two in the same category is just unbelievable, especially in a category that means so much to me, Song of the Year. And obviously, being in the conversation for Entertainer of the Year for the first time is such a huge deal, and having a seat at the table with Carrie and Miranda and Keith and Eric, it’s just an honor. I’m just really thankful and really humbled."] SOUNDCUE (:30 OC: . . . and really humbled.)
The 2020 CMA Awards ceremony will be broadcast on ABC on Wednesday, Nov. 11th at 8 p.m. ET.
