Memorial Day honors the women and men of the Military that served and lost their lives. Lead singer of Midland, Mark Wystrach was taught that by his father, and he will pass it on to his children. Mark tells us more: My father served in Vietnam and was lucky to come home, but three of his groomsmen that were in his wedding – they got married two weeks before my dad shipped off – three of his groomsmen and best friends didn’t make it back. And it’s a day that I always call my dad on Memorial Day and say thank you and we talk, and he tells some stories. If you’re remembered you’re not forgotten, and we shouldn’t forget the people that have served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice.
