Miranda Lambert Offers Help To Victims Of Hurricane Laura

Miranda Lambert‘s nonprofit for dogs, Mutt Nation is helping with pet food needs as part of recovery efforts from Hurricane Laura. She has partnered with Greater Good Charities and Tactor Supply in giving $40,000 in gift cards to families in the Lake Charles, Louisiana region.

Miranda said, “I’ve seen pictures and heard amazing stories of how people worked so hard to stay with their pets after being evacuated, and by providing food for thousands of animals as their families begin returning home. We know we’re making a real difference.”

Disaster relief is a core part of Mutt Nation’s mission and gift cards will go to qualifying families in the amount of $40 each.

Miranda’s charity is also involved with helping pay vet bills for those in the music industry impacted by the pandemic.
