Morgan Wallen To Release 30-Song Double Album

Morgan Wallen's sophomore album will be called Dangerous: The Double Album, and it will be released on January 8th. He took nearly three years to make the double album which features a whopping 30 songs.

Morgan announced the album on social media on Wednesday (Nov. 11th) night shortly before winning his first CMA award for New Artist. He said, "The 'double album' idea started off as just a joke between me and my manager because we had accumulated so many songs over the past couple of years. Then quarantine hit, and we realized it might actually be possible to have enough time to make it happen . . ."

Writers on the album include Eric Church, Jason Isbell and Thomas Rhett. The project features his current Country radio singles “More Than My Hometown” and “7 Summers,” as well as “This Bar,” and the countrified album version of the triple platinum Diplo collaboration, “Heartless.”
