Tenille Townes will host her annual “Big Hearts For Big Kids” benefit concert tonight (Tuesday, June 30th) at 7 p.m. CT from Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The show will be streamed via Tenille’s YouTube, Facebook and Instagram pages. In addition to performances of songs from her new album, The Lemonade Stand, the virtual concert will feature at-home performances from Dierks Bentley, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Andy Grammer, Caylee Hammack, Ashley McBryde, Chrissy Metz, and John Osborne, to name a few.
Tenille tells us: “Yeah, I mean I’m freaking out at this lineup for Big Hearts. I just can’t even believe it’s happening. And, to be able to do it from the Ryman is such a sacred thing. And yeah, just looking forward to people being able to watch on any of the social media platforms and they can visit bigheartsforbigkids.com for those donate buttons while they do so.”
In the 10 years since Tenille started the “Big Hearts For Big Kids” fundraiser, she has raised over $1.9 million for Sunrise House, a local youth shelter in Tenille’s hometown of Grande Prairie, Alberta Canada. Proceeds from this year’s event will once again benefit Sunrise House as well as Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee’s Troop 6000, an initiative that supports girls without permanent housing. Donations to both organizations can be made via bigheartsforbigkids.com.
