Thomas Rhett Teases First Single Off Upcoming Album

Thomas Rhett follows up his 16th chart-topping hit with a new single called “What’s Your Country Song.” He teased the tune on social media on Friday (Nov. 6th), which is the first taste off his fifth studio album. Thomas co-wrote the song with his dad, Rhett Akins, as well as Jesse Frasure, Ashley Gorley and Parker Welling. "What's Your Country Song" will be available on Wednesday (Nov. 11th.)

Thomas said, “We wrote this song on the road last year in Dallas, Texas. It’s really about how I was noticing that no matter where you live or where you’re from, everyone has a little bit of country inside their bones."

He is scheduled to appear on ABC's Good Morning America on Wednesday ahead of his performance of “Be A Light” featuring Reba McEntire, Hillary Scott and Chris Tomlin on The 54th Annual CMA Awards. The show airs live from Nashville on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
