Travis Denning Prefers To Hear Other People Sing His Songs

Travis Denning has his first Number One hit this week with "After A Few." The song is featured on his new EP, Beer's Better Cold, which was released last month.

As a songwriter, Travis has written songs recorded by the likes of Jason Aldean, Justin Moore and Chase Rice. Surprisingly, Travis tells us EXCLUSIVELY that he gets more excited about hearing other people singing his songs on the radio. ["Hearing my voice on the radio is a whole different feeling. It's a whole different beast. That side of it really is that kind of rewarding side from the hard work paying off, but then that gratitude and sense of rewarding from hearing a song I wrote recorded by somebody else, it strikes pretty deep with me, so they're very different feelings, but I gotta say I think I still think hearing somebody sing my song is probably my favorite feeling."] SOUNDCUE (:30 OC: . . . my favorite feeling.)

Travis spent part of yesterday (Wednesday, June 3rd) fishing, reeling in a nine-pound fish.
