Kevin Hart debuts new tequila brand, Issa Rae to serve as 2022 American Black Film Fest ambassador and more

(NOTE LANGUAGE) –Comedian Kevin Hart announced a new business venture today with the launch of his tequila brand, Gran Coramino.

Developed over the course of two years, Gran Coramino is a Reposado Cristalino, which is a Mexican liquor invented by Juan Domingo Beckmann, who partnered with Hart on the new brand. 

“From day one, it was clear both Kevin and I share the same philosophy for producing tequila of the highest quality, entrepreneurial drive, and care for the people who make and enjoy tequila,” Beckman said in a statement. “Kevin has become part of our team here in Mexico and I could not think of a better partner to share this journey with…”

“Can’t wait to have a drink with you!” Hart wrote in his Instagram announcement on Monday.

ABFF is an annual event held to recognize Black talent and creators, highlighting the films and projects made about people of African descent. 

“ABFF was the first major festival to showcase my work and they continue to elevate Black creatives from the ground level,” said Rae, as reported by Deadline. “I’m honored to be this year’s Festival Ambassador.”

At this year’s fest, which returns to Miami Beach from June 15-19, Rae will screen her highly anticipated HBO Max show, “Rap S***,” on the festival’s closing night.

Some of the new songs included on the mini-deluxe include “Like Me” featuring 42 Dugg and Lil Baby, and “Affiliated” with Lil Durk
